Double proofed 12 gauge non ejector by Sanner and Company. Has enough choke in the left tube they don’t want you running pumpkin ball slugs through it. What they called the action I don’t know, but, they work, and are not common.

There were many designs the market tested. Some sold, some, didn’t.

The Model C and Model A Darne guns, unusual as they are, were actually good sellers, and performed well. I’ve never shot a Sanner, but, maybe it would be just fine. That Darne double rifle up there was built on the earlier, 1894 Model R patent.
