This is a very unique forum. It's a gun forum, but it's the only one I frequent that has a number of anti-gun posters that post about their enjoyment and usage of guns. You just don't see that level of hypocrisy in many places, even in our crazy world today.
Here's what I think - if you are an anti-gunner who supports anti-gun policies and anti-gun politicians, you really ought to be more consistent in your life choices. Enjoying using guns, and enjoying communicating with others about guns, should not be part of your life if you are going to actively support having those rights taken away from everyone else.
I really don't understand how anyone's mind works when they do this. There is no doubt about where anti-gun policies will eventually take us. We see it right here as described by our friends in the UK where the common man can no longer afford to even keep a SxS shotgun. We KNOW that will eventually happen in the USA and every other place that elects anti-gunners. Only the extremely wealthy are able to keep guns and enjoy the shooting sports. I guess the posters here think that they will be in that category when it happens here, so to heck with the rest of us must be their line of thinking.
If you support anti-gun policies and politicians and want to lead a consistent life, I believe you ought to immediately get rid of all your guns. And don't sell them, destroy them, as you must believe they are evil. And then log off this forum and every other gun forum. You can surely see that shouldn't be deriving any pleasure from guns when you support taking them away from others.
Once all of the anti-gunners do that, the problem is solved. A pro-gun forum will then be inhabited by pro-gun posters, and we can get back to talking about guns. And one subject we will ALWAYS need to talk about will be how to protect ourselves from the anti-gunners.
