The seller of the Reilly that Argo44 complained about did not misrepresent the gun. He did not hide the flaws, the refinishing, the stock extension, etc. So once again, you are dragging someone through the dirt in order to justify your behavior. This time, you are accusing the seller of misrepresentation.... all to justify attacking Ed again. It was Argo44's opinion/complaint that he overpriced it, and was engaged in profiteering. So what? Don't buy it! There are thousands of overpriced guns on the internet. Maybe you and Argo44 should start hundreds of new Threads here every day to complain about overpriced guns. At least it would be more sanitary and dignified than dumpster diving for fired Shotshells to chart the difference in their lengths.

I never said the Flues is a "Best" gun. It was an affordable machine made gun. The frames of a very small number out of the nearly 200,000 produced cracked when subjected to abuse and/or overloads. A great many have survived after firing modern heavy field loads that most here would advise not using in vintage doubles. As far as design issues, I'd bet that a lot more L.C. Smith's have been junked or parted out due to cracked stocks than Ithaca Flues have been junked due to cracked frames. The Flues was a light field gun that was not built to fire artillery rounds, and their survival rate appears no worse than average vintage doubles when used properly. You could have been truthful, and said that, but you chose to advance a mythical narrative... in your zeal to appear as a shotgun expert.
Ed wasn't wrong or sinful to confront Argo44 for sticking his nose into that sellers' business. We all know you have your precious collection of photos you've used to attack Ed about some guns he sold in the past. But it's been several years since Ed has done anything except purchase and take in used guns on consignment, and then sell them. When he sells items here, he pays Dave the $12.00 fee, which may not be true in the case of our Free Tagline Advertisers. They plead the Fifth on that simple question, or respond with vulgar Spam PM's as if consumed with guilt. Do you have evidence that Ed is misrepresenting the guns he sells, that might justify you confronting him with your weird little "silence in the face of evil..." lecture? I just happen to think it's much worse to hide behind Scripture, than for anyone here to hide their identity. A quick look at the Member List will show you that the majority of members here do not use their full names. You have made the phony statement that if we all used our full names, it would stop personal attacks. And I observed that even though you knew James M's (formerly Italiansxs) full name, and had even hunted with him and his wife, that did not stop you from personally attacking him. Phony Hypocrite that you are, you never explained that. And I expect you never will.
You also neglected to explain why you are so triggered by the word Libtard, yet never once confronted your pals who repeatedly used the words "retard" or "retarded". I'm glad you brought up living on hate again, and the special needs school bus memes I've used to describe some really mentally challenged gun owners who continue to support anti-gun Democrats. I have my targets, and you have yours. I admit that... you can't. I already pointed out your continued attacks on Ed, and your Photo Evidence file you saved to denigrate him over and over, so stop the innocent act. It's very easy to think of more of your targets, such as Francis (R.I.P.) and Pine Creek Dave (who just might have some of those mental issues you pretend to be concerned about). I haven't forgotten how you repeatedly targeted Miller (R.I.P.) just because you were angry and unable to disprove his Biblical readings on slavery. I think you ought to look in a mirror and repeat the last two lines of your Post to yourself, and think about your own need to finally stop living on hate, find forgiveness for Ed and your other targets, and seek peace and healing.

The only difference between me and you Preacher, is that I can admit to being a sinner who hasn't forgiven many of my enemies. You never will, because you think you are something special.
