So then Preacher, it appears we are in agreement that I was both correct and virtuous to call you out for besmirtching the good name of Ithaca Gun Co. when you bore false witness against their small bore Flues double shotgun design. You repeatedly posted a few images of small bore Flues frames that were cracked due to abuse and overloads, and attempted to perpetuate the false notion that they were inherently defective. For years, you repeated this same Fake News in this forum, and on other firearms forums, which helped to create a myth that has no basis in facts.
Think of the damage you may have caused, by creating a narrative that probably lowered demand and value of these guns, and caused sellers of small bore Flues guns to suffer lower prices. Think of the shooters who may have developed a flinch, expecting their old gun to break while shooting. Think of the Flues owners who may have switched to pumps or autoloaders because they no longer trust their old double. We've seen no repentance from you for misleading us... only a silence which speaks volumes.
I think posing as an expert and posting misinformation like that is a lot worse than Ed admonishing Argo44 for complaining that a G.I. gun seller may be over-pricing his wares. In Free Market Capitalism, any seller is free to ask whatever price he wishes, and the marketplace is free to either buy or not buy.
What would be really wrong or sinful is for the seller to advertise that gun for Free in his tagline here on DoubleGunShop forums, and then neglect to pay Dave the customary $12.00 fee for a successful sale. Perhaps you should consider preaching right from wrong to those here who may be cheating Dave as they brazenly do Free Tagline Advertising of for-profit business ventures. As you said in your quotes, "Silence in the face of evil is itself evil", and "To sin by silence, when we should protest, Makes cowards out of men."
Will you be a coward by casting stones at Ed over a benign little comment, while totally ignoring those who may be guilty of far greater sins??? Is your hatred for Ed that deep??? Is it time for a little introspection???

eeb had it right. The internet is full of over-priced guns and other merchandise that may languish for years. I don't much care for that either. But instead of starting a trend of complaining about every over-priced gun on the internet, Argo44 would do better to complain to those who operate G.I. and other internet gun auction sites.
