Appears to be a Merkel-like design with Kersten bolting. Beautiful gun!

Robert, I have never seen or heard of an Emil Flues hammer gun. Do you have any photos or references that could help out ? I'll bet they are really neat guns.

There is a similiar Emil Flues gun for sale on gunbroker.com. It's a 12 bore, but very much like this 20ga. It would appear that Emil bought German barreled actions and finished the guns to his taste. I'd call it an American GUILD gun!!!

Thanks everyone for all the GREAT info. I greatly appreciate all the knowledge you are sharing. I looked at the Flues on Gunbroker. It is serial #44. Mine is #41. Nice piece! Here are some differences I detected compared to mine. 1. There are no markings on my barrels anywhere. 2. My top rib is solid. 3. Mine has a single selective modeltrigger. Also, there is what looks like a set screw actually inset into the front of the trigger. Is this for adjusting trigger pull? If so, what a great idea. 4. My forend is a one piece job with a pretty good swell to it almost like a beavertail. There is a screw in the front of it like that on a Parker beavertail. 5. The receiver scalloping pattern is different. I'll be posting some additional photos later today. Thanks again for all your comments.
