My boy Tucker just loves to hunt these birds.

Moose we saw the other day, thankfully right after we entered the truck.

Heh.. I'll take some of these pinfires out hunting someday. My wife does not like the idea though (of hunting in general.) But I feel like it is necessary.

Stanton and Aaron, I really enjoyed the display of gun/hunting related pictures. Aaron’s photos show hunting accessories from maybe the 1850s which many have not had the opportunity to see. I find them a plus in the game/gun pictures. Maybe more so than cute dogs, birds on a branch, or those other items not related to double guns. I enjoy taking Pinfires to the field after upland birds. The pinfire period produced some of the best workmanship of any era. Aaron, I would always welcome more of your pictures and ideas.

Mills, you left out the part that the field limit is 12, and not the state's 15. I heard it was a burner with folks limiting out in under 30 minutes. Good job. Gil

The birds won tonight, 0 for 3. We found a covey of 5 birds, I missed two screaming down hill quartering away and one coming out of the trees. Still fun though. We will give it a go a few more times this year for Blues.

It was a burner and one of the best hunts I have experienced in several years.
