Nice meme. Very funny.

I shot it all last year, and it really polished my game. However briefly it seems.
I highly recommend people try it. It’s a very fast, and efficient game to play.

It’s good for clubs too.

Limited space, limited traps, good throughput. Good yield.

It’s closer to hunting in style than Sporting clays anymore. (pre-mount rule change)

I was shooting FITASC at the Nationals and a young lady in my squad had on what I would term “Volley Ball” shorts. The ref. read her the riot act but ended up letting her shoot. I shot well despite the distraction! 👀

The French are so brain dead. They want a monopoly on low gun competition

Is that how you read it?

I see it as a way of protecting their market.

preventing the people that run the FITASC competitions from also working for their competitor is understandable.

My guess is their sanctioning costs got too high and some clubs bolted to the new game.

For the clubs it’s all about selling targets.

Myself, I like a 50 bird parcour over a 100 round grind, but to each their own.

I see it that Digweed in Fujairah, chose SS over Fitasc. Sent a shockwave to the Frogs and they had to stem the bleeding

George Digweed is one of the greatest shots of all time. Arguably the greatest.
Fujairah is a new shoot in UAE with a huge pay out. 400k in prize money.

They chose Super Sporting which is a American invention over FITASC

French have panicked, hence the letter

Digweed is phenomenal, but very boring to watch. I shot with him (not on his squad) at the American leg of the Triple Classic quite a few years ago. Due to squadding times I was able to follow him around the course and watch him shoot several stations. He just grinds them out, with no particular flair, but with deadly precision. Amazing man.

My good friend Bill McGuire beat him at that shoot for HOA, which was quite a feat.

May God bless America and those who defend her.

FITASC
Super Sporting
Sporting
Are my favorites in that order.
A four course 100 bird Five Stand can be pretty fun.

Snooker (Make a Break) is a hoot but hard to be competitive in my neck of the woods.

Not big on sub gauge events although I’m often talked into competing by my mates.

All good.
Ken
