I always thought patterning a shotgun on a patterning board was to check the point of impact and also to check for holes/coverage in the pattern. Given this Jimmy, I don not understand when you say if you can get your head in a position to see down the rib that you can adapt to any gun. How would one adapt to holes in a pattern especially if they did not know the holes existed? Help me understand better just what you mean in your post. Thanks.
