Parker After-Market Upgrade

I looked at an interesting Parker SxS yesterday, for sale.

It was a V grade that had extensive after-market engraving, and a coin finish. Also restocked with decent but not outstanding walnut, checkered, and a spanish style checkered butt. 12 gauge, 28" barrels (not sure of chokes). Overall nice condition. At the least, a very fancy shooter.

Seller was soliciting offers. I had no idea what this one was worth. Any opinions?

Sort of depends on how well and extensive the upgrading was done and who did it. I absolutely guarantee that an upgraded Parker by a big name will bring 5 figures easily.Pictures?

I don't have any photos, and didn't buy the gun.

It seemed like so-so engraving, maybe C+ or B-, but lots of it, and was unsigned. I'm not an engaving valuation expert by any means.

If anyone is seriously interested, it is at WIL-NOR Hunt Club in Grubville, MO (near St. Louis). I got the impression they were hoping for $2k+, but no actual price was ever mentioned.
