Most new k80s are parcours or parcours x
Parcours is 8lbs with a 3lb 32 inch barrel. All of these you can custom balance with weight systems.
I agree on the old k80s. My sporter is fixed choke, back bored, custom stocked and the gun is lively, well balanced at 8lbs 7oz. Factory was 8lbs 12 oz. I bought it to mimic a 203 merkel 32" I had at the time. But as I aged, I had to thin it down a bit.
One thing I will say is the new Krieghoff stocks LH or RH are phenomenal and very diferent than the old ambi dual palm swell with neutral cast
They are state of art with parallel offset, Adj comb, weight system. Zero recoil. They say Krieghoff was tired of looking at all the custom stocks that would come in during service calls and f it, we have to up our game.
Kolar stocks have the best dimensions and wood quality is spectacular. One of my kolar stocks has a twisted sister toe out. So comfortable. Parallel off set.
I shot with a perazzi guy yesterday and the wood was almost as bad as brent's home depot lumber merkel.
Brandon Powell is on a tear and has won basically every major comp with his parcours including beating DIgweed, his hero.
