I shot one. Wasn't impressed. Hard to impress me after getting my MX8.

I've shot with the bad boy, Brandon Powell, and known him for a loooong time. He shot a perfect round in competition not so long ago. But, unless he has improved his attitude I hope I'm never squadded with him again. What a butthole. He's an awesome shot, but an awesome pill as well. I've seen some of his antics that are inexcusable in any realm. Saw him get kicked out of the GA State Championship once for foul language in front of a kid shooter. I can admire most pro's abilities but there's not much I admire about BP.

Nice. I understand he has repented for his wayward ways.
Did not shoot for 5 years, found his inner chi, had a kid and likely cleaned up his act.
I heard a podcast with one of his students, the young man was talking about how Brandon was teaching him proper etiquette and behavior.

Picked up some major sponsors.

Will Fennel on the parcours.

I know some people share your sentiment; however, as a religious individual, I think it is best to turn the other cheek and to be forgiving.

The reason for my ? was a friend offering me his K20 Parcours, which he had only shot once and didn't do well with it. I shot it and at 7 lbs it is nimble without being whippy, handled recoil well but I don't think I shot it significantly better than my Rizzini SxS or my Yildiz Pro Star 20.

I appreciate your sentiment, Buzz. But, he's never wronged me personally so I've nothing to forgive him for. It hurt me to see how poor an example he set for other young people, I hope the reports of his change of ways is accurate. My impression was that he either had to clean up his act or get out of registered sporting. Very talented and hard working individual.

I personally like Brandon. He can sure make a shotgun sing!! I will admit, Brandon is a bit rough around the edges. Making an excuse for him, I think his upbringing had a lot to be desired and likely contributed to a poor disposition. Not all of us were fortunate to have the right upbringing (ie, great parents and grandparents). Thankfully I got lucky with mine. I bet Stan had more luck than most too. Now, I think Brandon is trying to do better, but I believe he is still a work in progress. I wish him success.

I had a dinner with a guy named Steven Pinker, who had written a book about swearing, poor conduct, and social classes. Look him up.

Making excuses, tolerating, looking the other way, anything other than clear sanctions, just perpetuates it.

I was playing golf with a guy long ago that would get so wound up after a poor shot that it would be 10 minutes of him going off with either clubs, broken or thrown into the lake and just outrageous tantrums over a friendly daft shot.

We were one and done.

Over the years I have laid off many people for poor workplace conduct.

I don’t care about your childhood. Hit the ball. Shoot the clay, and shut up.

Plus, if one hasn't met and does not know Brandon, then other than making general comment, rendering judgment is only superfluous.
