It looks like a #7, but isn't. It has a brass trigger guard, and several other features tell me it's likely an Italian action used to make up something to look like a #7. It has no milled cut for the tang sight on the top of the grip frame. Also a bit off on the stock shaping. Prongs too long for a #7 also.
Still would be a fun gun to own and shoot, even as a copy of the original.
