I'm headed to Texas this week and next to visit my nephew in Boerne and I'm going to shoot the ZZ tournament at the Dallas Gun Club next week. I'm going to have a day to mess around in Houston and Dallas. Any thoughts on shotgun related places to visit would be appreciated. I got Gordy and Sons from a previous post and Holland and Holland in Dallas. I'm driving so out of the way places are possible. Thanks

Possibly Joseph's, outside of Houston. Limited, but I had a very good experience a bit back. Isn't that the place in which Dig Hadoke is a partner?

Collectors Firearms is a fantastic place. Not a fancy place, but they deal in a huge number of fine firearms. They typically have some nice doubles as well as a huge number of historical firearms. When I was curating a private museum I bought a Colt Paterson (one of six they had in inventory) a Colt Third Model Dragoon and a highly engraved Savage Model 1899 from them. May not be what you’re looking for, but it is definitely one of America’s best.
Oops. Collectors Firearms is in Houston, though they now have a shop in Austin as well. From what I’ve seen the best stuff is still in Houston.

Call before you head to Michael Josephs. Most of the time only the sandwich place they have next door is open.
