I was at the Game Fair (this year at Blenheim Palace - the view is if the Fishing Village by the River Glyme) and saw at Francis Lovel’s stand this gun that I am fairly sure is the one that I commented on last year (see above).



I suggested last year that, unless a gun had considerable sentimental value, it made a lot more sense to buy a replacement gun with sleeved barrels rather than pay £3000 to have a gun sleeved.

The above gun, already sleeved, is now a quarter rather than half of the likely cost of getting a similar gun sleeved.
