OP Texan72 Boxlock Joined: May 2012 Posts: 14 Likes: 5 x	I was recently fortunate enough to acquire this finely crafted Krag Sporter. It is one of the nicest I have personally held. I handled a Wundhammer Krag in Tulsa this spring, and this one is just as nice. It is definitely not a garage hack job by Bubba. If anyone sees any similar qualities that points to a particular maker let me know... Regardless I am looking forward to hunting deer in the Texas woods this fall. I found that mine would tip the rams at 500 meters with just 16.5 grs of 5744 and a 175 gr 311291 _________ BrentD, (Professor - just for Stan) =>/

I had sold a Krag sporter I built previously and discovered I really missed it. I was lucky to find a NOS bolt and the Lyman 48. The barrel is a Douglas with the Don Allan profile. Bill Ferguson
