It seems to me that Donald Trump has learned a lot about being careful in choosing the people he surrounds himself with, as compared to 2016 when he didn't know as much about what it takes to form a winning team in Washington. No doubt in my mind that he was undermined and sabotaged by some of those he chose, which is why I was very hopeful he wouldn't follow the advice of "experts" who felt that people like Nikki Haley would be a great VP choice. I think she would've been even worse than Mike Pence, and no more qualified to step in as a successor.
I'm a bit concerned that J.D. Vance isn't quite ready yet either, but I think he is certainly more qualified the the freshman Senator Obama, who was pushed for the top job despite an extremely thin resume, and zero business acumen. I think Vance will be a quick study under Trump, and get better very quickly. I was impressed in 2022 that J.D. Vance was able to topple his worthless Democrat Senate opponent Tim Ryan, who had a 20 year career in Congress of ineffective representation and fooling Ohio Democrats. It comes as no surprise that the bitter ex-Congressman Tim Ryan is now trashing J.D. Vance, and that in itself should be a pretty good Vance endorsement for anyone who paid attention to Ryan's career in Congress as a lying anti-2nd Amendment Nancy Pelosi kiss-ass. Ryan was the classic self-serving Democrat politician who showed up in his District with empty promises just prior to a re-election bid. It took 20 years for enough Ohio voters to finally wise up to his game, even though a majority of voters in his reliably Democrat District voted for Trump in 2020.
I was kinda hoping Trump would choose either Tim Scott or Tulsi Gabbard. It would have been entertaining to watch the rabid Liberal Democrats attacking either a black man or a registered Democrat woman.
The reaction to Trump and his V.P. choice in the last 24 hours should show anyone that Democrats and the Media have not given up on Joe Biden, or winning the 2024 race. Look at the number of pundits who are now claiming that polls show the race is virtually a dead heat, even though Biden choked in the debate, and only a few days ago, most of them were calling for him to step down because campaign funding was drying up and they felt he had no chance to win. Far Left looney Rachael Maddow of MSNBC is saying that Putin is celebrating Trump's choice of Vance by releasing balloons. They still have no intention of allowing Trump to become President, and will fight with their last forged ballot to pull the same kind of "miraculous upset" as we saw in the wee hours of Election Day 2020. Conservatives should continue to play as if they are down two touchdowns at halftime, and should never let up or play prevent defense.
I wonder how long it will be until one or more deranged Liberal Democrat women crawl out of the weeds to claim J.D. Vance raped or sexually assaulted them decades ago? If Jimmy W was a woman, I could see him doing just that. Jimmy's posts here are eerily similar to those of a Liberal Troll who got banned several months ago on the Indiana Gun Owner's Forum... around the time he re-emerged here. Jimmy W, who has a terminal case of Trump Derangement Syndrome, continues to claim he is IGNORING my posts, but I received yet another PM from him recently, which I have not bothered to open or read. I'm thinking that the "W" in Jimmy W's screen name here stands for Wacko...
