I have just completed digitally photographing and indexing the records of the Francotte shotguns sold by VL&D between 1901 and 1929. Unfortunately, your serial number, 89363, does not appear in the VL&D records. Perhaps it is an Abercrombie and Fitch gun - if so, I may be able to tell you the model and date of acquisition by A&F. That information should help others give you an idea of its value. I hope to begin the A&F records later this week. The serial number information on this website suggests a mid-forties gun.
