It’s a shame what had happened to this once valuable resource. Years ago some of the best craftsmen in the world hung out here. Much knowledge could be gained just for the asking. The toxic personalities here drove them away. The lack of any moderator made it possible. This place has become an empty shell of what it once was.
While I am "new" here, I WAS a member about 20 years ago and can concur that the quality of the members and the knowledge was something special back then. This is probably why I was/am so dismayed with what the forum has become. There are still some knowledgeable people that contribute from time to time but one has to wade through a pile of BS to find them.
