I recently acquired an old S3EL 12 gauge (1956) gun with two barrel sets in the leather factory trunk case that is marked S3EL. It has a straight grip stock, double triggers, 15" LOP, and full coverage deep scroll engraving signed by UG, and the old 7 pin locks with a pierced top lever. The quality of this gun is unbelievable to me for the price they bring ( <10K), compared to the newer models, which honestly , IMHO, aren't even in the same league. It weighs 7 lbs. with either the 27 or 27.5 inch set of barrels and handles wonderfully. Anybody have any idea what this rig might have sold for in the mid-50's? Thanks, Sandlapper
