Careful what you ask for. I’d rather the debate came after the convention when the ticket is set in stone. If Joe steps aside the media will fall head over heels for his replacement like he or she is the second coming.

He or she would have to win the election without Wisconsin, Nevada, and Georgia, as the only way he comes off the ballot in those states is by dying or going insane, which, if they were serious, they would already have made that case. Not much time left for that in Texas, or, South Carolina, either.

I always figured the democrats would snuff Biden before his term was over, to keep him from spouting off about what happened.

We’ll have to see what happens…..

Best,
Ted

There was a coordinated talking point after the "debate", by the entire left to feign concern for what they've always known. It's just as probably that jo goes into hiding, as four years ago, while the dems create the image of a savior of all injustices. This time around, I like Trump's ground game, infrastructure and team.

Say Newsome takes over. Do you think Biden will handover all the money he has raised?
Dr Jill "gravy train? No way

There are lots of issues.

If Hillary- ha

If Gavin (desantis killed him in a debate)- White male brushing aside females. How is that going to play out. California is an anchor

There is no Bill Clinton or Obama caliber candidate ready to take over

KY Jon,

You reference "the second coming". Interestingly there is a poem by that name written by William Butler Yeats more than 100 years ago as a reflection on World War One, but which may provide some thought for today. Part of the first stanza goes:

Things fall apart; the center cannot hold;

Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,

The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere

The ceremony of innocence is drowned;

The best lack all conviction, while the worst

Are full of passionate intensity.

God help us.

Great poem, Bob!! William Butler Yeats!! One of my favorite poets when I was an English major in college. And I was having poems published. It was in the collection, "The Tower". That poem is about a falcon losing contact with it's owner. Symbylizing how things get out of control. Thanks for sharing it with us!! It was one of his finest poems!!

Thanks for the quote, Bob. Like Jimmy W, Yeats was a favorite when I studied English in grad school. Kind of shows that turmoil is a constant - just sometimes it’s far more up front than others. Pray for our nation.

I was a bit apprehensive about the Debate. Trump really showed me something by accepting terms that were to Biden's advantage. There were two CNN Moderators who had a history of being extremely critical and dishonest about Trump. There was no audience, and they had the power to mute his microphone. There was every reason to believe they would be tougher on Trump than Biden. There was every reason to believe they would rigorously fact-check Trump while giving a pass to Biden lies. Yet Trump was brave enough to go into that, and it is now apparent he correctly calculated, like the shrewd businessman he is, that all he needed to do was gently lead Biden to self-destruct. He again showed us he has no fear, and he will be far better equipped to handle tough situations and leaders of other countries than Biden ever could.

I took a moment to celebrate a win. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing the immediate panic reaction of the leading Democrats and Fake News Media who had lied to the Nation about Biden's mental acuity and cognitive abilities. It all blew up in their lying faces.

But I knew that no matter how decisively he might or should win, we are in a place and time where we can't relax and say it's over. And the reaction of the Democrats and the Media has proved they are not conceding defeat. They are looking at any way to replace Biden, and they are also making every excuse under the Sun for his terrible performance. They understand the math, and know there are a large number of voters who will still vote for Biden because they are dependent upon Government Welfare, they despise Capitalism, hate the Constitution and the country the Framer gave us, hate the police and military, support the sick DEI Woke and LGBTQ agendas. They know many low information voters didn't even watch the Debate, so they are now saying Biden did a good job, and all Trump did is tell lies for 90 minutes. They are still hoping they can get another trial and another conviction of Trump before November.

Then there is the little problem we had in 2020, where we are expected to believe that Biden, who ran a weak campaign mostly hidden in his basement, actually got 81 million votes. Obama didn't even support Biden in 2016, and chose Hillary. Biden only got as high. as 1.4% of the vote in his previous runs for president. Yet now we were told he got an all-time record number needed to beat Trump, and actually got more Black votes than Obama.

If you haven't watched the documentary "2000 Mules" showing video evidence of widespread Election Fraud, you need to ASAP. Even more disturbing was an interview I watched last week with Tucker Carlson and the retired Wisconsin Supreme Court Judge who is the Special Counsel investigating Wisconsin Election Integrity. I wanted to post a link to the video, but strangely it has been removed. Among other things, the retired Supreme Court Judge said he has already found huge numbers of dead and non-resident voters on voter rolls statewide, and evidence that ballots are being cast in their names by mail-in vote. He spoke of learning that ballots are cast in the names of incapacitated nursing home residents who are unable to vote. He spoke of the huge amounts of money that have been donated by Mark Zuckerberg and other liberal Left Billionaires to influence elections and to get out of state operatives into positions of counting votes and running elections. He spoke of Election Observers who were kept at least 50 feet from actual 2020 ballot counting. He spoke about the intense stone-walling and non-compliance with subpoenas he has been getting from election officials and out of state operatives controlling the election process. There was quite a bit more that was jaw-dropping. Here is a little information I found on this ongoing investigation from wispolitics.com

https://www.wispolitics.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/220322_Second_Report_Pages_11-16.pdf

These frauds are not about to give up. Not when they are so close to realizing the goals set by Alinsky, Ayers, Cloward, Pliven, and others who wish to destroy America as we know it. You may think Obama is Biden's puppeteer, but Obama is a puppet as well. Biden has said Trump is an existential threat. They put it on his teleprompter for him to read, and that is what they believe. An existential threat is a threat to humanity itself, and they believe it, and will stop at nothing to stop Trump from winning. Lying, cheating, and stealing will be fair game to them again, so we cannot relax until it is over and Trump is sworn in. And even then, they will do all they can to stop him, as they did before. They will work to destroy his business, his family, his associates, his marriage... just to destroy him.

So we must get out the vote. We must contact our legislators and insist on measure to protect election integrity, like Voter I.D. laws, paper ballots that can be traced and verified, same day elections, an end to most mail in voting and unattended ballot drop boxes, accurate voter rolls, and as many of us as possible should volunteer to be poll watchers. If Argentina can count all of their votes in one day, there is no reason to accept one county in Arizona holding up the results for weeks. And if we are successful in getting Trump elected, we will see how quickly the Democrats become election deniers again.

Voting for anti-gun Democrats is dumber than giving treats to a dog that shits on a Persian Rug
