Received back my double rifle in .375 H7H flanged magnum that arrived damaged with a chunk out of the stock at the trigger guard and breech face. Forearm has minor damage.

Would be grateful for advice on repair and lead to whoever might do such repair.

Have not yet heard back from the gunmaker who shipped me the rifle so do not plan to provide more details.

Regards, Tim

Pictures would help. DES, the stock doctor is always a good choice for wood repairs.

James Flynn, 2809 Madonna Dr., Alexandria, LA 71301 QUOJURE49@gmail.com

He has worked on scores of H & H stocks. He has done work for me on several "London" guns and is excellent and reasonable for his services.

No clue how it happened, John. Arrived in a good plastic case with foam, but with no packing around the rifle stock and action and the barrel and scope. No sign of wood chunks so must assume it was like that when it was packed.

Thanks for the lead, Halifax and appreciate John and Ted's endorsement.

That's a shame. Too much of that kind of stuff happens.
