This weekend in Greeley is the annual classic arms show. It bills itself as “The Best Old Gun Show West (or East) of Baltimore in the world!” It is consistently a good show with 800 tables of guns, ammo, and accessories.

And if you’re heading for I-25 after the show, stop by the new Buc-ees in Johnstown for a sandwich from the brisket bar and some Beaver Nuggets for the road. 😉

I've heard very good things about that show but...I'll be on the road to Nowhere, Minnesota to open things up and launch a few boats. Darn...

All part of my rehabilitation Ted. After 3-months of laying around waiting on bones to knit, I've got a lots to do to get back in bird-hunting shape.

Mixed emotions for me, too, this year. Last month it dawned on me that the week long vacation with the grandkids that my wife has planned starts Friday and falls right over the show. She was surprised when I mentioned that.

Wait a minute. Maybe she only “seemed” surprised.

And now that I think about it, there was that comment about my surely not needing another “old gun”.

You don’t suppose a wife would . . . 🤔
