It should be a great handling gun. I like fixed chokes and opted for 26" SK/IC....about the best combination for Ruffed Grouse and Woodcock over pointing dogs. I'm surprised the 28" & 30" barrels are to be choked M/F. I'm not surprised at the chokes. From their description it sounds as if their choked tight with the expectation that people will have them opened to their personal requirements. Mine will be 28" Cyl/IC.

Good choice - Cyl/IC. Plenty of choke over your Vizslas.

A lot better looking than the original. IMHO. Might even order one.

I would like to get Mr. Ken's opinion on the engraving. They claim that it is indistinguishable from hand engraved master plates. I find it hard to tell because of the color-case hardening. looks like they have eliminated the black checkering however.

I think its a beauty, though I would want longer barrels - maybe 30".
As a hammer gun fan, I sure wish they would decide to make a double hammer gun in a utilitarian 12 gauge. A fowler or an upland gun - I don't care which. But that won't happen in this life time.
Congrats and enjoy. Brent

They claim that it is indistinguishable from hand engraved master plates. That would be rather astonishing. I'm satisfied with the doodling on my 20 but it wouldn't pass for anything but laser work. The exception is the trigger guard which looks to be done by hand? Least well done is the top leaver which has a raised feel.

The English scroll and rose seem well executed. The dogs look good, but the grouse looks like it lacks much detail. hard to tell since engraving loses some of the detail in photos. Any other opinions?
