The Disease or the Remington That the DGJ wouldn't even guess at the value of Ken?
I Don't know much about the old Remington Side By's. But I Do Know when I See & Handle An Outstanding Shotgun!!
Most of the Old Doubles I Have had & Have handled aren't that Outstanding, But There Have Been A Few that If I Had Had the $$$$ I Would have been alot Broker than I am now!!
I Am slowly getting my Gun Collection to were I may have fewer guns but the ones I have will be Good guns!! It just takes time & Just a little luck!!!

Besides the Lefevers, I have found the Rem. doubles very interesting but only have 1 1/2 of them. Ken

Remington 1894 hammerless guns will be the next Sterlingworths.
In the lower grades, they are much better gun imho, than the Lefevers.
They are a great example of the early American gun.
It took a year before I came across my AE.
...and there are Lefever G&H grades for the budget minded that get passed-over...not so with the 1894s!
