The Indian symbol swastika before the German Socialist party started to use it was formed in a straight top and bottom square. Now when Hitler and his cronies became the major force in the party the Swastika orientation was altered to he one we now know as the Nazi Party symbol where the outline square is now rotated by 45 degrees. Strange how a Pease and happiness symbol can forever be cursed due to its association with a political party.
