I love that guy. He could sell anything. I wonder what will really happen with his Parker on this side of the drink. What would be it's value over here? Not much, I think.

Seriously? I'd have guessed not half of that.

Thoroughly enjoyable and great salesmanship. A shot out, broken stocked (note the smooth Selous name-drop), 27" sleeved barreled Parker, that per David Trevallion is devilish difficult to work on, is being sent to America - cost for gun and shipping about $500. Who is going to buy it pray tell? Makes you wonder what other things (junk?) he's rounding up from the four corners to send over. (and that gun, once you get a UK export permit could be put into your luggage).

Nice to know these importers are in Arlington, however. I might look them up.

Don’t know that I’d try that. In theory, you are correct, but, it can be hard to make that point wearing handcuffs, in the back of a squad car. Law inforcement doesn’t care how long or how much money it costs to sort your troubles out.

In theory, you can land at Heathrow with a gun. Or, leave from there with same. But, nobody does that, either.

Best,
Ted

Left Pakistan with a muzzle loader broken into two bundles - barrels in one bag, stock in another - in 2008. Landed in Chicago and got a ho hummm.

Of course the USIMLT all flew into England to compete along with many teams from other countries in 2021. No problem getting their rifles in and out, though a few bullets got lifted somewhere along the way.

Try it. Your team would have the same results. I’m sure of it.

Best,
Ted
