lettre annale are somewhat stylized and can be difficult to interpret
There is a partial list of inspector's marks at the bottom here, but many marks are not included (including the fused AD which is common), some were repeated, and the significance of some were lost in a fire at the Proof House so guns can not be dated by the inspector's marks
