Rizzini Premier Sporter, which I bought second hand but little used, and with my SKB 500 which might be 10th hand but is still sound with good bores and cost me virtually nothing at Southams timed sale. All good guns that should set you back about $1000 used if you buy opportunistically. The 686 was a 90's model but was perfectly adequate. If you want a little more soul, maybe try a superposed?
