Researcher Sidelock Joined: Jan 2002 Posts: 5,961 Likes: 163 WA/AK	My take is that that style gun started life as a Hopkins & Allen -- When H & A folded it was picked up by Iver Johnson -- and pretty quickly lost the sideplates and emerged as the Hercules -- most know.
