very timely discussion, for me anyways. I returned from the Southern with an expensive sxs, which was labeled IM and IM. When I measured the chokes I got something like .008 and .013 and the restriction was very near the muzzle. I was afraid someone had opened the chokes and if done incorrectly messed with the point of impact. I have a laser that fits in chamber and a different jig that fits in end of barrel. The chamber laser showed very close to same spot on wall, the muzzle laser showed a different story. Pangs of regret seeping in at this point. I shot it yesterday and despite extremely windy conditions point of impact looked good. More open than IM but it was proofed for steel, so maybe the IM is with appropriate steel loads.
