I picked up a live round on the clays course yesterday that someone had evidently dropped and failed to pick up. It is a 12 ga., 2 1/2" shell, blue in color. it is a 3/4 oz. load at ........... wait for it .......... 1199 fps. That's right, 1199. I've never seen that fps designation on a shell before. Most manufacturers would have just put 1200 on it, I believe. Anyway, I'll have to look at it today and note the brand name. I do remember it is a Cheddite hull, with the stars on the head.
