yes. Only problem I have with it so far is that right around the crimp at the top it makes the case larger in diameter and makes it a tight fit in the chamber. Will work on a fix.
Mike, excellent and fun video. I've often been asked about how to get pin-fire cartridges and usually flip the question over to Steve Nash or Aaron Newcomer. Wonder if you used a slow press like a vice or something rather than a smack might eliminate the hull expansion process.
Now, how to obtain the pin-fire hulls and how to load a shotgun round would be interesting subjects for a video. You'd think there would be a small niche business for someone making these...perhaps more than niche in time.
What gun were you using and how did snow get down in Florida?
Skeetx I do have one for 16 ga. Thanks I'll look for one in 12. Argo Bucks crimper has excess room once the 12 gauge is inside. So when pressed or hit to make the crimp the brass bulges to fill the gap. For a quick fix I might try wrapping the case with some tape to get a snug fit. The gun is a Belgian made German proofed one that has decagon rifling in the last two inches of both barrels. Similar to a paradox.
