I came into possession of a 1952 era Churchill Premiere 12 gauge over under awhile back, and wondered if anyone had an inkling of how many of these over unders Churchill turned out after WW2? There were 15 made before the war, but the Churchill book doesn’t tell how many were made total. Perhaps one of our contributors from Britain might have that information. My gun is rather unusual in that it has 27” ribless barrels and chokes that are reversed from normal, the bottom being tighter than the upper along with a straight grip stock. Sandlapper

A Churchill O/U was sold at the recent Rock Island auction. It was a pre WW11 gun built in 1925.
This doesn't help to answer how many post war O/U were built by Churchill but it is interesting to see as any Churchill O/U is rather rare.
I did a quick search of a couple of gun auction catalogs and did see a modern day Churchill for auction.
Perhaps, you could contact Churchill and persuade them to do a search of their records.

The book ,"The House of Churchill' by D.A. Masters provides details of Churchill's O/U guns but doses not provide any indication of the number of guns sold by Model. Well worth reading, published by Safari Press, in 2002

The present company isn't too responsive about factory records, seem to be very busy. I imagine they didn’t build more than 40-50 total. They don’t seem to show up too often.

The chapter on Churchill in Geoffrey and Susan Boothroyd’s “The British Over-and-Under Shotgun” concentrates on the side lever Zenith model of which it appears no more than 3 were made.

They comment that the records did not make clear whether Over-and-Under guns were Zenith or other (presumably Premiere model) guns.

Don Masters, who I used to shoot with, is sadly no longer with us.
