Ed, I have one that is fairly obscure. It is a Gladiator 12 ga. double made for Sears Roebuck Co. by Hunter Arms Co.
As I recall, the total production of the Gladiator doubles was less than 500 guns before the order was cancelled. They were based on the Hunter Arms Fulton design, with cosmetic differences. Very scarce, but not especially valuable.
Voting for anti-gun Democrats is dumber than giving treats to a dog that shits on a Persian Rug

Some years J. Stevens Arms Co. got the contract for RANGER double for Sears, Roebuck & Co. and some years the RANGER was a Hunter Arms Co. Fulton. One of the earliest appearances of the Hunter Arms Fulton was as a Manhattan Arms Co. double for SD&G.

I got confused with the words 'store brand'. I thought Ed meant guns with the name of the store marked on them. That is different than a manufacturer supplying guns to various retailers who may or may not have had them marked with the store names.

hal, lets expand it to guns branded, that do not identify the maker...
if you know of a branded gun, but do not know the maker, then post it here...maybe a member will id it for future reference... like "great american nitro"...

Ed, the Crescent list of private labeled companies, has been posted here many times, and I believe resides on Dr. Drews website. There were over 120 variations on the Crescent theme.
Essentially if you bought more than 12, they would put anything you wanted on the lock plates.
But you’ve been here long enough and already know that.
Out there doing it best I can.

A correction, for accuracy. Ithaca doubles both correct (SXS) and Incorrect, (OU) from the 60'-70's were SKB made, not Miroku. Carry on!
