Hi Gang:
I need to find a buttplate that has some class to put on a custom gun. I fit a Kickeez pad when I stocked it, but I think that the Kickeeze looks terrible on a classy gun! I need to know where I may obtain nice buttplate that I may fit or a source for a piece of ebony that would make a nice buttplate. I often thought that an ebony buttplate would look very nice. If not ebony, perhaps I could stain a piece of wood black. This may allow the grain of the wood to show through the stain. I have some cherry wood that might make a very nice looking buttplate after being stained black. I would really prefer to find a source of ebony though!
Any ideas?
