I have currently 4 useable drillings and use them more than other guns I have. If I was told the world would be destroyed if I didn't kill a deer today, I would choose my 16/16 by 8x57IRS Franz Sodia to do it. It is as accurate as any bolt action I have (three barrels all fastened together are very stiff), and it holds zero, year after year. I have used my drillings and other combination guns to take Whitetail, Red, and Roe deer, Wild hogs, Chamois, Bobcats, Foxes, Racoon, Hares, Rabbits, Squirrels, Ducks, Pheasants, Hungarian Partridges, Bobwhite Quail, Dove, as well as poaching cats and jays in Germany where this is expected to protect game. All my drillings except one are fitted out with telescopes and insert barrels in either 22 LR or 22 Mag. All in all, I submit this shows they are very useful.
