Barrel length: 68 cm. Czechoslovakian and Austrian proof marks. Double barrel underlug lung lock and rib extension with 'Purdey nose', ejector. Double trigger, sliding safety - the gold-inlaid 'SAFE' is visible when the safety is engaged. Color-hardened receiver with "Holland & Holland" sidelocks, blued trigger guard and key engraved with border engraving, rosettes, arabesques, and rose bouquets. Lock plates with gold inlaid arrow as cocking-indicator. Oiled walnut stock with pistol grip, checkering, German cheekpiece, and sling swivel. Austria-Hungary, early 20th century, length 110 cm. Gustav Tichý manufactured his own high-quality Holland & Holland locks and produced some of the highest-quality weapons in Austria-Hungary and later Czechoslovakia. The stock and barrels are heavily used, with some light staining on the steel parts. Condition 2<<
