Maybe, or maybe they're just telling it like it is - hunters are the real backbone of conservation and habitat preservation.

Stories like this are a dime a dozen in the outdoor magazines - but those are read mainly by the 'choir'.

NG reaches many people beyond the 'choir' - maybe they'll consider what's being 'preached' in this article.

Alexander Graham Bell lived and carried out many experiments in Nova Scotia, and his family includes the Grosvenors, the National Geographic directors, who spend a good parft of the year at the family home here on Cape Breton Island. The Bells and Grosvenors had/have nothing against hunters and anglers.
