Pinduck, The price he is asking is insane as the seller. I have a personal friend that approached the seller regarding these guns and the man is a jacka**.

His collection has been for sale for some time now. He probably has the most awesome 21 collection today. During the Custom shop era he was buying anything they made and had so many 21s made to his outlandish specs including Presidential Models, two gauges on the same set of barrels (a 28 gauge and a 20 gauge on the same barrel set) and so much more. I talked to him once and his cheapest gun was outlandishly expensive. I put the pictures of his guns on a floppy disc a few years ago and they are incredible. His guns won't come cheap if you want one, I know that. .

Lets see if I got this straight. He bought many Model 21s and never even put them together? Obviously he never had the pleasure of firing them either at the skeet/trap fields or bird hunting as that would have cut into their "investment value"!! Will someone please explain to me what possible enjoyment one could get out of this pursuit? I'm sorry but this to me is an example of the idiot/consumate speculator that has ruined so many other hobbys such as wine.classic cars etc. Jim

Just one of those 'Custom Made' ones with minimal engraving in high original conditon will set one back about 14K. I bet one could buy a small VILLA with wine cellar for that amt. of coinage. PS. I doubt he has a set price in mind, but is just taking bids.

I'll take the small villa with the wine cellery any time. This is one person I hope ends up sitting on his "investment" out in the hot sun!! Jim
