...snobbery at it's finest. I'd much rather spend my remaining time hunting with most of the deer hunters I've met than associating with some bird hunting purist who feels his method of "sport" is superior to other's chosen methods.
Guess I'm a snob. I don't "condemn" any legal form of hunting - but I don't think much of some. Killing over bait. Ground-swatting. Sluicing swimming waterfowl. Driven shoots, or herding game toward a posted shooter. Some day they may join unlimited killing, shooting from a vehicle, baiting waterfowl, jack-lighting deer and other methods which once were legal and are no longer.
Ethics are personal limits on personal practices. Some choose to set theirs at the lowest level permitted by law. Others, apparently, are snobs.
