You'll be fine shooting 2 3/4" in your 2 1/2" Husky. Most of my stash of guns are short chambered and I never bother to shorten the hulls. I feel perfectly safe! Most of mine are either damascus or light English guns so I keep pressures, velocities, and shot weights within the bounds they were designed for. IMO your Husky has a lot of extra metal in the barrels and the steel in them and the action are "modern". Enjoy!
