Would a Banded Front express rifle type front sight such as those sold by NECG be period correct for a circa 1890 style trapdoor sporting rifle ? I own a 1888 Sporterized Trapdoor and I need a sturdy front sight that I can easily change front sight blade heights. Thanks ! Mine's a tale that can't be told, my freedom I hold dear.
