I was recently asked a question about a Saint-Etienne gunmaker Martin-Dubost. I know nothing about the firm except a few hits on Nuturabuy.fr and passionlachasse.fr. It looks like Martin-Dubost was a maker of o/u shotguns in Saint-Etienne in the 1960's. There is an address for the firm in that famous 1953 list of the Saint-Etienne gun trade, Martin-Dubost, 38 rue Badouillere. There is also a "Jean Dubost" which may or may not be related to the firm. Any history/help would be appreciated by my friend. (Looks like at least a couple of or maybe most of the below pictured M-B O/U's might be identical guns posted on different websites).

. . . commentary states he made o/u in Saint Etienne in the 1960s- another speculates he made "baby Breton" guns (without top ribs)
