Maybe my eyes were open but, being more of a shooter than a collector I wouldn't have noticed the subtle differences you noted. Now I can see it. But, back to being more of a shooter than a collector, my biggest concern would be whether or not the gun is regulated, after the sleeving job. There are no guarantees, it seems, and there are many more "messed with" guns out there that are not, than most people realize. All the right scroll cuts in the world won't keep a gun from being a piece of crap if it doesn't shoot both barrels where it should. If I were to buy it, it would have to be understood that if it was found not to be regulated it would be returned. And I seriously doubt they would agree to that.
