Just picked mine up today.
Took a while to get the FFL and shipping worked out. Mine looks like a twin of the pictures you posted. Didn't upgrade the wood, but got some very nice figure on dark walnut. Mine was paid in full late December 2005 and my serial number is 0015XX. Going to oil up the barrels, clean off the preservative grease on the action and take to the skeet field as soon as I can.
Anyone know what kind of preservative they put on the guns? It is kind of wax like. Wouldn't mind putting it on some of my other guns that don't get the use they deserve.
