Well, it appears that the late December 05 and early January 06 RBLs are being delivered. Mine was ordered on 5 January 06 and recently arrived. It was a paid in full purchase. Wood is 3X and, to my eye, is American Black Walnut. I would appreciate opinions on that. I did not request a particular specie of wood, just that I would like some figure. I think it fits the bill nicely. I have only shot the gun once - on five stand and she performed very well for me. Everything worked fine - even the choke wrench! When I did my part the clays broke well. Here are some pics of RBL0017xx:
