Raimey,

The FW (featherweight frame) was introduced in 1909 if I recall correctly. The serial number you gave comes back as a 1924 gun. I am doing a very in-depth study on L.C. Smith guns made between 1920 and 1925 and would very much like to discuss this with you on your gun. What grade gun is it? I will continue this off board if you wish.

The serial numbers affixed to L.C. Smith guns can be confusing as number blocks were reused multiple times through out history. When looking up the numbers, you must know if it's a pre 1913 gun, a post 1913 gun or a post 1945 gun, as the numbers were reused in those blocks, if I am saying that correctly.

Getting back to your gun, your serial number falls RIGHT in line with my research project and thus I would very much like to speak to you about it, especially with the 2 barrel set and more importantly IF IT HAS A HUNTER ONE TRIGGER.
