I have a "Adkin Maker Bedford", possibly approximately the same vintage, a Damascus 12 bore with cocking levers and internal hammers. 12 bore 29" Damascus. When you take a quick look at it, it looks like another hammer gun. I always assumed it was produced during a transitional period. A high quality gun with a Jones underlever. I don't know much more than that about it.
