Sean: the Parker is a well used damascus barrel GH. The floor plate screws may have been switched. There also appears to be a crack along the left side of the top tang. Is it a 12g?
The gun deserves a careful check and clean by a double gun specialist with the expertise and equipment (bore scope and wall thickness gauge) to properly do so before use.
