ellenbr Sidelock Joined: Aug 2007 Posts: 12,498 Likes: 487 North Alabama	It could have been made from components acquired from the Sauer shop, or some other, in Suhl just after WWII but I do not see any marks that lead me to believe it originated @ the Sauer facility. Did Hendrik Fr�hauf say it was engraved by Heinz Funk, or what is the source of info there? I wonder if it was by Franz Schilling? It does have the screws for the upper & lower scears. I'd be hard pressed to attached anything Sauer related to this example. Any idea on the text on the water-table? Is it German, English or Arabic? Cheers, Raimey rse
